The headliner is in. Took about 10 hours to get it to look decent.

Still following along. Those seats are great! I'm getting pretty close to needing a rotisserie for my project and as I mentioned earlier in your thread I really liked the way you made yours. I came up with these for free. Cant argue that price. A trip to HF for some cheap casters and I'll be set. I have a couple hundred ft of 2" square tubing I got helping a buddy tear down a fence. Thanks for the great idea! Resized_20191218_093944.jpeg

Started repairing the bumpers for powder coating. They are pretty rough. These are the rear guards.

What absolutely great attention to detail! Wow, just Wow!

Thank you so much for documenting this journey!

  10. Did you press the dents out of the guards, or hammer and punch? What tools did you use?

I made an aluminum punch out of 1/14 round stock. Rounded off the end and used that and a hammer.

Worked on the chrome extensions for the chrome lip on the hood. A little work left to do.

I was able to finish installing the windshield. What a pain with only 1 person.

I'm impressed. I've never attempted to do a windshield in a tri-five by myself. A few back glasses which aren't too difficult solo. My hat is off to you, sir!

Thanks. I've never done one that has all that trim in it before. Sure makes things difficult.

on a tri 5 you have to install the top 2 pieces in the rubber before you install the windshield.

Really like the color of the interior. Headliners and windshields are a booger to do alone. Keep up the good work.

Started some interior work tonight. Began with the part that I dreaded doing the most. Went much better than I thought that it would go.
