Might have been a “zipper” top; hardtop was made removable so they could run the same car in convertible division races. (Edit - I checked with my expert NASCAR source, and it wasn’t)

The story behind this Cadillac, is fascinating. Pictures don't do it justice. So glad to have played a minor role in it's preservation. Nads has done a remarkable job, transforming it. The hubcaps are totally scratch built, to replicate the originals. Wow!!!

I’m going to get mocked for commenting on the car instead of the MILF, but I can hack it. That convertible is (under) powered by a 235. Don’t see too many x-frame ragtops with sixes.
