    Dick,
Did you make the hood top from scratch?
    Aluminum?
    What thickness and grade?

I did make the hood top. I don't know the grade. It's really thin, I bent it without annealing it. I'll ask Hogrod, he gave me the material.

Hey man. Big respect for your creativity on those Vrod wheels. They make that car interesting to look at. If that makes sense.

So happy to have seen Dick get this car together and put plenty of spirited miles on it.

Rest In Peace man, see you on the other side.

These are memorial tributes that are a little more subdued but no less moving...so we offer condolences and celebrate life lived...RIP xderilict

  19. ... there is a really cool video, somewhere on the net ... of him and his wife, tooling around in that coupe, loud as hell, old car interior noises ... with both of them laughing, and smiling ear to ear. Stop light revving, and debating on letting it loose ... at the green.

He was near the end of his life, and you'd have never of known it ... by his actions in that video. It'll make you cry, with a smile clearly, on your face. Just like theirs.

Always flinging effort, into his realities. Challenges, were no thing, for him. Just get it done. Alot of people here, looked up to him, and his ongoing builds ... with one burning, all the way to the ground. Never quit. Just build another.

God bless him, and his family. He was a husband, and a dad. Surely, missed by all.

Stogy, thanks for posting that link, whoever produced that really captured the vibe of the show. 1st time attendee this year for me at the invite of Rob Lee. What a kool get together, great music, great food, cool cars and awesome people.

Proceeds from the event went to a scholarship fund in Dick's name. What a cool thing for the South Omaha Turds to do!!

I can close me eyes and see Dick Warsocki sitting on a tailgate at the old Lincoln (fairgrounds) swap meet, helping me out with some Six Cylinder Chevy questions. Nice guy doesn't say enough about him.

Still owned by family members. Rob Lee, fellow club member takes it out occasionally and puts some miles on it. It was at Grease A Ramma last year and possibly this year too. A show on the north side of Kansas City held this weekend.
