Nifty car that would be a lot of fun but it isn't for me as I don't want the "fans" all pissed off at me because I made simple changes to it to make it more of the way I wanted it. All unbolt and bolt on things but you can bet that someone would have a fit and fall in it if a guy made changes to it even though it was changed so little most wouldn't notice.
I passed on a local Model A roadster a few years ago that was real nice mechanically but had a very tired mural paint job done by the the original builder and long time owner. The paint work while pretty wild when he did it was exceedingly dated and deteriorated but to some locals it is akin to the great works of art in the world.

Hey, that's the old coupe body my bros and I pieced together! It started out as a hunk of scrap and with chunks from 6-7 bodies ended up a pretty nice body.

We named it Frank. For Frankenstein, cause the body was made from so many different parts.

Jesse James signed the check with pink pen. I wanted to frame the check and hang it on the wall, but my brothers wanted their share of the loot. Nowadays his autograph would be worth a few thousand dollars, right? Since he's famous and all.

He sent his lackies on a bonsai run from Texas, three of the them in a pickup truck. Not sure if he even let them stop to sleep.

Does anyone know how many weeks it took to build that car?

  15. For all the great builders who quietly labor in their shops on automotive art that brings them satisfaction and joy, for folks who do that on any level, without shameless self -promotion and endless grandstanding.....Enough already!with the hucksters and media created heros of the day.... it all seems so last decade...................Rant over.

And the cover on the bottom of the bell .

  17. I would have to make lots of changes to anything that Jesse "built". And I would not drop that much coin on something I was gonna make major changes to.

It is not a bad looking car in the pics. Hope someone gets it that will appreciate it.

For that much money you would think you would get interior pics.

  20. Pretty sure that you would be hard pressed to find any of Jesse’s fingerprints on that build...he was too busy stirring up fake tv drama. It would be hard to find Bob Bleed’s fingerprints either...only because Bob wore his fingerprints off actually working on the car.

    Definitely over priced.
    It's not "period correct".
Lot better 32's available for that kind of money.

That’s one car that could definitely lose the whitewalls.

Don't care for the flat sides of the dash, needs some detail to not look tossed in, plus either side doesn't mate up with the pillars.....

I think Jesse did bend up the rear tube bumper and shaped a panel.
