I hate the term hiboy when the hot rod is inches off the ground. If the mods don't delete this because it has radial tires and a Vega steering then I will take the time to do the write up. I will just say I won MEGUIARS MAGNIFICENT MASTERPIECE and CUSTOM CLASSIC TRUCKS Magazine TOP TEN _1944_chevy_FRONT.jpg _1944_chevy_highboy_.jpg _pickup_rear_quarter_z.jpg _side_.jpg at the Goodguys Charlotte 2005.

p1010020_0008_008_0056.jpg PROPORTION. . Shortened hood 3.5". Stock was too long. Chopped 5.5" in back. 5" in front. I don't like the wedge chops that are getting popular now. I even took a little more out above the windshield. I want to see out. With that much chop the roof looks like a school bus so I took 1" out at the drip rail. The rear window is 52 Ford truck. I forgot how much I chopped and narrowed it. [proportion] BRAKES. Buick front useing Frankland Engineering open steel backers. Rear stock Lincoln. Buick drums on 39 Ford hubs. I spent many hours prepping those hubs for chrome.

I'm not usually a fenderless truck guy, but that thing is bitchn. Very nice proportion and excellent detail.

    Nice work, -Abone.

That's Bad Ass. If the mods delete it, tell me where you go from here so I can go hang out with you!

Very cool truck! Perfect proportions. Absolutely beautiful!
I'm very new to this site and I hope I'm not breaking any rules but is there a way to discuss your truck offline or privately? I'd really like to ask a bunch of questions about it.

I’ve seen this truck in person. It is perfect.
Dennis, happy to see you showing your handiwork.
    Take care. Rick.
