    Plaid was big in the early to mid fifties. Check out some of the car adds for wagons. Th whole thing in th evaluation with pumpkins, shotguns and shooting jackets, etc. Country estate / getaway thing.

  4. In the upper right corner you can see my plaid GMC valve cover.
    The wife had a VW bus that was BRIGHT yellow with a green plaid interior. 004.JPG

    Glad to have the plaid on my coupe.

    This thread has me thinking maybe a wrap could be used on a different project custom dash and window trim. A plaid wrap might warp when stretching around sharp curves.

    Be careful not to put the MacGregor tartan on yer car if you are clan Campbell, if you don't want to start a rumble.
