I have been searching the internet for this magazine article. I know that they have been discussed here before, but I can’t find the article anywhere. I think that it was written by Brian Brennan in Street Rodder, IIRC. There was also an earlier article along the same lines, but I don’t know where that one appeared. If anyone can post those articles, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
This has me curious, so I am trying to find it. Amazing how many "safe car" articles are out there, but they definitely take a different path than what I expect this to be.
"Is your car safe, or is it car guy safe?" Google fu led me to another HAMB thread where they discuss this article. They quote Freiburger in an editorial. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/the-bucket-of-ugly-a-de-uglifying-thread.824491/page-141 Further Google fu comes up with no related search terms for the quotes... the innernets has failed me! Anyway, breadcrumbs for the search.
This popped up when searching too...I know it isn't what we were looking for, but is somewhat related and a good read that Jive-Bomber posted a couple years ago. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/making-hot-rods-safe.1112425/
