  4. Not only did he have an injected Ardun, he also had an injected 348/409. Neat.

Obviously not Don Dad’s partner in this car was Wayne, seems like he said they were cousins or some distant relationship but no real connection there.

It was an Algon injected 409 (I think probably a bit more cubes than that) on 80%. It ran a best of 7.40 @ 198

Just noticed this thread on my profile while I was looking for something else. I just wanted to thank everyone for their birthday wishes and kind words for him last year.
Dad passed in mid January of 2021 just 3 months short of his 88th Birthday. Even with the Covid restrictions his funeral was pretty large. The police Dept. and many of the local firefighters did walkthroughs at his visitation. There were many of his old racer and car club Buddies there and we are still getting cards and stuff from people. Someone just found and posted a cool old picture of him receiving some kind of award from the an auto racing sanctioning banquet. Johnny Shippman longtime Flagman from USAC and the Indianapolis 500 was handing the award to Dad. We are just starting to go through his things. We have decided to try to keep all the cars and bigger things in the family and we will probably still try to re create the “Scotty’s T Roadster” with the original Ardun from it he had kept for all these years.
