Not to long ago somebody posed the idea of a huge H.A.M.B. get together when this pandemic ends. Well okay maybe not huge, but a get together nonetheless. I think with a little brainstorming it’d be a great idea. Besides, we all need a little something to boost our spirits these days.

How about in Lebanon Kansas, that’s the exact center of the good old USA. Small town, just about 200 residents or so and an area of around .316 square miles . We could take over,,,,Just a thought. Mitch

The world's largest ball of twine is close to Lebanon KS too. Even more reason to meet in North central Kansas.

How about multiple meets in different regions on the same day. There can be a left coast, right coast, TX-OK-LA, midwest, southeast, northwest, even more. All on the same day, everyone's pics from each regional meet would make one helluva topic. I can see people texting/IGing each other from different regions as the festivities roll on. Is that a thing or...?

I like HIGHLANDERS idea, we could have one in the Denver area, maybe west of Denver in the foothills,,,, hint hint.

Regional get togethers are a great idea. I can go as far as Sacramento California if necessary.

Sounds good to me, and it shouldn't be too hard to find a gathering spot around here somewhere.

 

Sacramento is 2,592 miles from me, I think Dave and I can meet up somewhere in Georgia. HRP

 

I think Southwest Wyoming is centrally located, and everyone should meet there, right?

 

How about doing one at Back to the 50's? And Minnesota has the world largest ball of twine wound by one man. We could meet at the Twine Ball Inn for a lutefisk dinner.

 

We can all meet in Texas! Only place it's legal. I can see it now, local news channels reporting the never ending string of Hot Rods and Customs headed for Texas for the Biggest swap meet and car show of the millennium.

 

I've heard of this little old drag strip on the border of Missouri and Kansas by a town called Joplin. Maybe we could do it there in August?

 

If ya do regional events, isn’t the Ed Roth display at the vette museum in Bowling Green?
Do they have enough room?
Just a random thought.

The HAMB drags have been at the Mokan Dragway. A classic 1960s dragstrip. Family operated. Friendly to anyone who is friendly back....

For the KY area we could have a meeting coordinated with the Somernites Cruise. People from several states are there every month anyway and it’s a great show, maybe something similar to the area for H.A.M.B. at the Turkey Run.
