It's always cool to get some recognition for a well built hot rod and I called Dave last night, he remembered them taking the photo's but was unaware it had been posted online. HRP Check out the article - HERE
Nice pickup! I always have a soft spot for 32-34 pickups, especially unchopped and full fendered. I really need to finish my O/T project so I can get to working on my 33
Nice, nice truck. I don't know if it's just me, but those wheels just seem to be a perfect fit for that truck.
Classy, I like it when someone really nails it. Stance, color, wheels, and in a less seen color to boot. Well done!
No, he got a promotion & moved up to being a supervisor at work and with that there came a raise, I believe he decide to keep it he is even building another truck, this time a '52 Ford. HRP
You need to post some of the photos of that beauty here:https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/hot-rod-truck-thread.1049210/page-59
Dave helped me when I was building my 32 pickup and used the same basic building style with the exception Dave used coil overs on the rear and I used a transverse spring. Mine was the first we built, then we built another for our friend Steve and Dave used all the ideas on his pick and improved on some of the ideas, his is the nicest of all 3 trucks. HRP
