Here's some of my collection, plus one old beach sticker on the windshield of my '37 Ford wagon.

I saw your plates and was wondering if you would consider selling or trading your soapbox derby plate? Thanks-Robb

Well, Robb, this thread stopped about 7 years ago. You might try a "conversation" to message him. It's the little envelope icon at the top of every page.

Man Beaner, I spent many a weekend at Olympic and Riverside raceway back in the '50's with the family. That brings back fond memories of my childhood!

I found it in the trunk of a '58 Chebby in a salvage yard. Winthrop Rockefeller had # 1. I had it restored for $50.

Sometimes we don't have access to a camera when we need one. This was neither old nor on a hot rod, but it did catch my eye. I parked at the business when my wife worked, about 40 years ago, and was walking to the door. a car was parked right by the door, with two very pregnant ladies facing each other, talking. Between them was a non-personalized plate on the back of a car, that simple read "ICU 812". Then I had to apologize to the ladies for laughing......
