I have two freshly rebuilt stromberg 48's on a supercharged Ford Flatty. The motor won't stay running. It runs off of the fuel I prime it with. It then peters out. If I get a good rev out of it. It backfires out the blow off port. Not good. That indicates a lean or no fuel issue. I lifted the top of one it was full of fuel. Using a electric pump. Do I have to modify the carbs to work with the blower??

    As noted, yes.
All of the fuel feed passages may need a slight enlargement. I'm sure this info is somewhere on the WEB.
The backfire could also mean ignition timing problems.

25432C82-8977-4AC1-AD52-D6DED197C8C8.jpeg Running 48’s on my blown flathead. 51 main jets, 60 power valves, straight linkage, 3 lbs pressure. Carbs calibrated with old Penske exhaust gas analyzer. Harmon Collins dual point, calibrated on Sun Machine, advance set using vacuum gauge. NGK b6l plugs, .030 gap. Blower 5-6 lbs boost. Runs great with over 15,000 miles on engine with no issues.
