    My dad had a Hudson Jet with the fenderskirts and continental kit. His was two toned black and maroon. It was the Super model with dual carbs. I loved that car. It was just cool.

    Close but not a Crosley prototype. It was a proposal for an engine to be built by Taylor Engines, Inc., Oakland, California. They actually built and tested a one 6 cylinder bank engine but didn't get the contract. They then teamed up with Crosley to build a 4 cyl engine using similar construction techniques for a light weight power plant for WW-2. It later became the Crosley CoBra engine they used in the post war Crosley car.
