Hot Rods Flathead throttle linkage or rod/cable set up

    I'd appreciate if you would post pictures showing a functional and traditional looking throttle linkage or rod/cable set up for one carb. I took a pic as it is now - performs just well enough but I'm planning to make it work and look better. Screen Shot 2020-04-07 at 20.55.14.png

    What is the flathead in? have you thought about the spoon throttle linkage?

    Here you go. Old style spoon pedal mounted on inside of firewall and rod through the wall out to the carb. Simple and works well. Pictures are a little dark. 20200218_201831.jpg 20200218_201843.jpg

    For duals, but I'm sure it would work fine for a single carb.

    ^^^ This works great. If using a carb with linkage on other side I move/weld an arm on that other side--done many.
    Not real fond of the cable throttle setup

    Thanks for your advice. I have a spoon pedal and will start planning a linkage to make the setup smooth and dependable.
