1.85 up the road two miles at the do truck fuel stop behind the bran ding iron. One of those bare bones fuel pumps and nothing else setups.
Cheapest in this state is in Cl Elum on I 90 90 miles from here where two stations are at 1.29 That barely pays for the gas taxes in this state that amount to .678 a gallon.
I gas up in that town every time I tow my boat to the coast because I can get up past the metro area before I need gas again. That rig gets about 5 mpg down hill with a tail wind with that boat on the back.

True. But if you could see the roads and highways there has to be a stock pile like never before.

I was just checking gas prices for a possible trip to deliver a car to up-state NY. One of the locations I checked (Cleveland OH) actually had gas UNDER $1.00 per gallon! Even NY state, where I might be going, it's only in the low $2.00 range.

Yea, gas is cheap but you are forced to stay home to avoid the virus. I have been taking a pack of smokes, a Pepsi and a bag of chips and taking a ride on the back roads to look for old vehicles just for the hell of it. So far out County is one of 7 out of 88 in Ohio with no virus reported YET- knock on wood. We are ready for this shit to run it's course!! I hope we all get through in good shape, I am old but I sure would like to get older!

Yep, dropped here from a high locally of $2.27 approx to $1.87 the lowest that I’ve seen so far.

............unfortunately that is a per litre price, so multiply it by about - 4 x ...........

approx $1 per litre just in tax here.

  25. Just did all the conversions, and last weekend it WAS US$1.80/gallon here, usual price is US$3.77/gallon.
Filled all of my cars up last week, now I have a bunch of full cars and nowhere to go.

If you really want to get older, lose the pack of smokes.
For one thing if you’re a smoker and old then you’re opening yourself up to serious infection if you do encounter the virus.
Smokers lungs are weakened to begin with so that makes you more susceptible for problems.

$1.12 for regular in Appleton, WI, and at least one Wisconsin station had been at 99 cents a gallon in the past week.

  28. Only low because of nobody driving so much. Once this whole this goes a away a bit or the lockdowns loosen up they will raise the price back up. Maybe they will raise them up even higher so they can make up for losses. Either way. If you don’t have business getting supplies/food or you are not an essential worked you should be home.
I don’t see how so many people cannot just stay home. Work on a project. If you cause other mischief while on your “adventures” coz you can’t stay home. You are keeping essential workers from helping others if something happens to you and you were were not supposed to be where you should be, you know who you are.
