    Hey all!

I’ll be needing a coil spring roughly:

    4.90” ID
    6-7 turns
    “Square” ends
    350lb rate
    1650 load
    11” free height.

I’ve searched Moog catalog and got close but way too tall. Can’t find any vehicle with anything similar

    Help would be appreciated

I did. He said $1600-2500 custom springs. Talked to someone else thats $320ish but was hoping for a junkyard take off or $50-90 set of regular off the shelf springs. Total bummer if its got to be customer. Money just got REALLY tight

Why the 4.9" I.D.? Lots of 5" O.D. springs in the range you are looking for. Speedway, AFCO etc.

Try contacting Jamco, they listed a set for 49-54 chevs on sale? Don't know prices.
There is a thread on here about stepping the lower A arms if you need to go low.

The load rate is unusual. Is that the spring load or the vehicle load on it.
    1650 load on a 350 lb/in spring = 4.7"

This would be very normal on a MacPherson strut suspension. But not an A-Arm suspension with a larger motion ratio.
4.7" load on a late GM suspension = 7" [which is soft] and would have a 155 lb/in wheel rate

Thanks for all your responses. Well actually it’s for a project that’s not welcome here :( but you guys are the most knowledgeable group on the web when it comes to figuring out what’s out there and putting it together to work so I went for it and asked. I can probably work with 5.0” but I need to watch my od. It’s not for the 50 front end those are like 3.5” if springs

I’ve been considering making all the plates and brackets and going with standard 2500lb air bags. They are like $100 and ride like a dream. Was hoping to Just throw in some junkyard springs and live happily ever after but doesn’t look good

Wow that is very close, the first one I mean. I don’t think I can clear the ID but that same spring in a 5” would so it I think
