    Hello,

Very impressive set up in the whole complex and especially in the office section. The computer setup is awesome. There is plenty of space for laying out worksheets, artwork, and samples. The white walls give a good blank space for quick product photos without any annoying background objects. Storage is quite nice, too. One of the best things I like, is that the wires are all hidden away, leaving a clean slate for only monitors, keyboard and of course, speakers.

Since this is the office and not everyday home, someone will have to keep up with the open shelves and the dusting. We had several houses with open shelves and found out over time that every day, a layer of dust coats everything. So, our last house and office have minimal open shelves to keep the weekly dusting down to a minimum. The rest of the house has cabinets and shelves, but they are all behind glass doors. But, the open shelves do have that great suspended look. Kudos…

The other impressive thing is the darkroom. A very nice Leitz Enlarger looks pristine and ready for some great film work. When using the “old” 35mm film developing and enlarging, our fairly modern Omega 22 XL was very handy. Is your set up from the 30-40’s or the 50-70s era? They were very popular, but for the everyday consumer, our Omega 22 XL did the job up to 2.25 x 2.25 film size.

You have plenty of wall space if your enlarger turns 90 degrees. This is so you can enlarge any clear 35mm negative on the side wall for a super poster size print. That is old school for us old photo guys. We had to create a new market for some people’s hot rods and a poster was one good hook.

In those days, the enlarger was turned sideways, the outline of the paper was outlined in thin masking tape, then after focusing the image, the large photo paper was put on the wall. For the final shot. Developing in normal trays was out of the question, so a company had developed a clear tube with a foam insert to roll the large poster up to fit inside. Now the chemicals could be used normally. The process was demanding, but the results were worth it, when presented to the hot rod/motorcylce owner.

Today, any color image can be taken to Walmart or CVS to get it into poster size from a digital image. (Time marches on…)

Nice looking shop Ryan, I just sent you $50 for my Alliance renewal.

No need to be nervous, you have a really nice shop and office for your operation.

It’s a nice size and it’s filled with appropriate tasteful items ,tools and especially cars.

Wish I had as much space a tour of my crowded little 24x 26 garage wouldn’t be very exciting.
    Here’s a little look anyway. :D
