    Hello HAMBers,
Does anyone know where I can find a nice molded carpet for my '53 New Yorker? It's a bone stock 331 M6 car. She rips around pretty good.

Stockinteriors has the "cut and sewn" stuff and it fit pretty terribly in my buddies '49 Dodge.
    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    -Devin

Since cut and sewn were the OEM style I doubt that you will find a molded carpet set.
There are a number of folks that make cut and sewn. Your best bet would be an upholstery shop that can custom fit a cut and sewn carpet to your car.

Ah, I didn't know that. Everything I've had earlier has a rubber mat. The '53 had all the carpet/mat ripped out, so I don't know if it was cut pile, loop, or what. I wouldn't mind cut and sewn, I just hope it fits better than the stuff my buddy got from Stock Interiors for his '49. I've bought stuff from Stock Interiors before, and most of it is great, and fits very well.

It probably would have been a tight weave or a loop.
Take a look on Ebay of similar cars for sale.
Look over the interior photos and see what was used in the restored cars.
