    ^^Notice, no blower belt idler pulley, they shimmed the blower and ran a different size belt. Also the scoop by a gentleman named Bailey, custom cast for the Surfer team. They tipped the can to near 100% nitro during the mid 1960's. Tom Jobe was a very smart guy.

    Dig the oil breather setup on this Ford. Must have had some blowby issues! Extended oil tubes with caps held down by springs. Both plumbed into a collection jug, with another breather.

    Several things to see on that dragster:
    Trimmed blower case
    Spacer between the blower and Howard's front cover (is that an original GMC cover reversed?)
    Not all the bolt holes are used on the chain cover
    Big Plenum manifold
    Exhaust braces bolted to frame rail

    Far from it. I noticed that the old timers (like @Dean Lowe & @wrenchbender ) see things that I miss all the time. Decided that I should pay more attention.
