hey folks.. I haven't been to visit for a while,, so after bumping into another Hamber on another site .. thought I should drop by... thanks Dave ! a week or so back after driving to an car event ( Muscle car madness, can do pictures) the next day I went for a visit to a vintage car club storage shed... having spent the princely sum of $35 for a couple of windscreen frames and $ 25 (NZ dollars )for a '23 Dodge bros tourer cowl !! of course Mrs Crate asked the obligatory what ,why questions .. now that ive got her sorted - well I have choices finish the 23 3 window or build a roadster/ bucket from my recent treasure.. or build both . add to that a local swapmeet in a few days time , and a 2nd one 5 hours drive south in a month....
havent dropped by for ages ,, so heres a bit of an update and progress ive sold the coupe project to my daughter and her partner , they will contiue with it . i kept the Tourer cowl and planning a roady pick up... slow progress as ive been playing with the Lark , sorting through small issues , like fuel pump, replaced the failing distributor ,alternator and fine tuning the brakes... in between summer cruising downunder..
how much to ship to New Zealand? current exchange rate is $1 usd = $ 1.70nzd thanks for the shameless plug !! i may wait till the exchange rate is a little more friendly
I just shipped 6 pairs to a guy in Australia, was 4 lbs. and it cost $61. I know the exchange rate sucks, so does shipping. Let me know. I THINK I am the only person making them.
