Wheels and tires are from Coker. The car was built with 5 x 4 3/4" Chevy pattern. Original Ford of the era was 5 x 5 1/2"

Love your interior Sylvian! Could you please share the name of the shop or person who did the work?

Man I love this thread and the cars in it. I have always put white interiors in all my builds except 1, and I regretted that one

I've had vintage drivers for many decades and this is the only one that has had thousands of pics taken by others, and the only one that random females of all ages, ask to sit in it. I used to joke with friends during the long build, that I wanted the interior to "look and smell like a French whorehouse". I even bought one of those tiny car freshener spray things called "French Vanilla". (it works..;)) I truly love being single..

I don't know if you get the NSRA's magazine, but if you do, you should submit that shot for the cover contest. It is better than any that they published in the recent issue.

I give mine a good cleaning once a year in the spring and don't get in em if I am dirty. you would be surprised how easy it is to keep them clean

  23. When your not driving the car everyday, its not hard to keep clean. If you drive it everyday and wear blue jeans, you will be cleaning it weakly. I had a O/T Camaro in high school with white interior and I was cleaning my seat every Friday as my jeans would turn the bottom blue, but it was just a squirt of cleaner and wipe it down and it was good to go for another week.

My son Lance's 23T,he picked white an keeps it very clean, very fussy about who gets in about how clean they are. So ya, you need to see. This was a father an son build about 15 years back,we did all together in our own garage, welding ,paint to sewing,so I could pass along how to do it all to him. Most fun building a hotrod ever,an I built a lot of rods an race car. Just a lady that ask to try !

Make sure you're clean before you get in, spot clean as necessary

  26. Sooo, if I’m looking at the photo correctly, and I like to think that I am, there’s a car in the photo, right?

  27. Wish I had pictures of the white interior in a turquoise ‘64 Starfire I used to own
Was virtually brand new, when I bought it, circa 1990.
Kept it covered in blankets most of the time.
That color contrast sold me on that car immediately. Wish I kept it.
P.S. Moriarty, I see a pattern developing with your collection

  28. This Brizio built, top shelf Hot Rod, belongs to a good friend here in Orlando.
He normally drives it with no shoes on
Still in great shape after almost 20 years
He and his wife drive it all the time
Hope it ages as well as Moriarty’s ‘55
