Yes it is the Day by Day 61 owned and raced by the Hoinsky Brothers, driven by Frank Hoinsky. They ran gas and modified production in the 70s mainly out of Connecticut.
I have a question out there with anyone with 1977 and 1978 NHRA rulebooks. I have a bunch of rulebooks but not those. I believe that the NHRA changed the wheelbase minimum for modified production which necessitated some changes as to which early Vette could now compete in MP. I believe some guys parked their midyears and brought out solid axle cars or switched their midyears to gas. The midyears (63-67) had a 98" WB and the solid axle (53-62) had 102" WB I believe. Anyone have a set of rulebooks that can check that out?
For everybody else wondering. Some people, mainly one team that I can't remember, used to paint those Rings or stripes on the headers collectors and people thought they looked like the spinning signs outside Barber Shops. Just coming back to me maybe the Canadian Barrie Poole. Anybody else remember who?
