For sale is a rebuilt 1949-1953 Ford Flathead engine. This is the perfect engine for your hot rod or restoration! It features a 4" stroke (merc crank) and 3 5/16" bore. It has adjustable lifters, new valves and springs etc, and most likely an Isky cam. Included is basically what is considered a "short block". Sold without the dual carb intake, carbs, and heads. It really needs a set of finned aluminum heads with better valve clearance anyways. Stock distributor, oil pump, water pumps, a w ide belt crank pulley, flywheel, and Merc oil pan included. ***Bellhousing, starter, starter plate and exhaust manifolds not included but available seperately*** I bought this from a gentleman who built flatheads for over 20 years. He was a very dear friend. At the time of purchase this engine was on a run stand and had less than 30 minutes on it. I was going to put it in my '50 Ford panel truck but decided to use an ohv engine. Take advantage of this while you can! Buyer is responsible for 100% of the shipping costs as well as a $100 palleting fee. Local pickup only, or you can figure out freight.
