Just stumbled onto this gem on another forum. Channeled body with raised front and rear fenders and running boards. Laid back grill shell with a tri-power Y-block
It could be a nice car once it was un - channeled and the grille was stood upright as it should be. Right now it just doesn’t look right.
I think you’re right, looking at it the position of the rear axle and fenders along with the rear bustle of the body just look wrong. Look at how short the panel from the top of the trunk lid to the back of the top is That car is definitely more messed up than is immediately apparent. That would be a lot of work to try to fix.
That’s definitely one of one! I like it. I don’t think the body is shortened. The fender position makes it look it , though. Also the shelf is pretty narrow on a 3W.
To each their own. Don't know when that car was built and I don't care for some of the details. But, with that said, it just shouts late 50's / early 60's to me and yes I like it. Over the top, sure why not? -Dave edit: looks like '57 Plymouth hub caps too!
Just stumbled onto this gem on another forum. Channeled body with raised front and rear fenders and running boards. Laid back grill shell with a tri-power Y-block[/QUOTE] That 32 looks like a car that was built in my area of the world 50 or 60 years ago. The owner recently passed. Any info from the other forum on where the coupe is located?
Where’s Old Wolf? You guys praising Y-blocks! He’s not going to like that!!! ( I like the Y-block, too, hehe) Bones
