    #150 C roadster.....

Edit per 296Ardun - This might be Boyd Penington's roadster, it was identified as the Kolb-Voigt roadster, they were very close, but the Kolb roadster had filled wheel wells, this one does not

Hey Jimmy, considering your current build, and a name like yours, shouldn't this version be your next build? I double dare ya!

As long as @winduptoy is asking about Bonneville results, I'll throw these up here - from 1949 & 50. These were original mimeographs that I'm sure Jim & Phyllis Lindsley helped put together as recorders. I've digitally enhanced so excuse the colors, but they are now a little more readable, as they were super faded when I scanned them. First 1949...

I mentioned at the beginning that Jim Lindsley also did a little circle track racing. Here's a couple a shots of his #244 jalopy from Carrell Speedway in Gardena, CA. Not sure of the year here. First one is with Jim driving....

Coming up later, photos of when Jim Lindsley partners with Jack Kukura in 1958. Here's a shot from the web of Jack's roadster when it first ran in the late 40's.... I'll be back.

Does anyone have the full name of A.J. Michele and maybe an age? I have the grape vine going. He definitely was family with that last name.

Back with a couple of photos of the Kukura-Lindsley D gas roadster on the salt in 1958 as #24. It ran 183.93 at the meet without the big blower that would later be installed. Jim Lindsley is standing by the car.

Looks a lot like the Jado Coupe without the scoop in the roof.

Look at the pipes on that...honestly I believe those may have started a modern trend in side pipes along with so many other innovations created through the incredible genius in this great Hobby...

Another very well engineered racer from this front row seat...mind you Lakes Racing had done quite a bit of evolving since the dirty thirties...

Good morning! A couple more shots of the #24 Kukura roadster in 1958. Looks like it's set up with Hilborn injection?

This photo is dated June 1959, so it appears the Kurkura roadster got a new paint job, or at least the #24 paint removed. This must be in front of Jack's home, as it is not the Lindsley residence.

One more from June 59. I love that it has a fresh 1959 license tag making it also street legal!
