    The accident happened in 1999 at the Indy Goodguys Hot Rod Nationals, when Steve Olson, the original owner, still had it. I was there.

    I was there that day of the accident. I even took a video of the wreck. It may be the one you saw. I gave a copy of it to Steve Olson. I hated to see them cut the roof, as well. If Steve hadn’t been knocked out when they got to him, they probably wouldn’t had to cut it. Glad he was not hurt seriously.

    Thanks for adding all of the great pictures and memories to this thread! This is what I was hoping for. It would be cool if someone from that area bought it and took pictures of the current car running at the same tracks that it used too.

    Wow! I never thought I would ever see a race car from my childhood. My family are great friends of the Olson's. Thank you for bring back a some great memories of our family's drag racing together and a really big thank you for saving a part of drag racing history. The car looks amazing!
