Are there any exhaust kits out there for a 31 sedan model a with chevy 350? Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Mine has a flathead but I bought bends and welded up the exhaust to get it where I wanted it to go. Have about $200 in the system including the mufflers, but was time consuming.
Not really any help. I use 2 inch pvc to mock it up. I have a friend with a pipe bender. I build my own. Might try the pvc trick and have a muffler shop bend it up for you.
I build my own. You can get free Ubends out of a heat exchanger. My exhaust has been in daily use for about 10 years with a 460
@manyolcars , do you mean out of a hot air furnace? We get plenty of those in at work and I honestly never thought of that.
fastcar1953, have you ever noticed that the base of some Ruud a/c units looks like an early model T turtledeck lid? Like this one.
One ton trucks left side kicks in and back for extra steering clearance. Don’t remember the part number. A lot of them cracked from the weight of the exhaust not being supported. Standard rams are okay on the right side. I have also used 2 right side manifolds like the one mentioned above. By doing this the one on the left will point forward and in. The right will point back and in. This allows crossing the pipe forward and around the oil pan to the right side for single exhaust.
This is exactly what I have used. Its free and has held up for about 10 years in my 1960 F100 with a 460.
There is a gusseted bung that is welded thru the frame. The body just sits over it. Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
