I recognized those pictures immediately...I was born in Duluth, but movd to Superior very early in my life. Superior had 4 burbs...South Superior, East End, Allouez, and Itasca. Those structures were just to the north of the Nemadji River...a large and very muddy river that flowed in to the bay of Lake Superior. They are gone now, but there are still docks like that just to the south of the Nemadji about a half mile. As a 10 year old kid, I trapped muskrats in a swamp just to the south of those pictures and the Nemadji river. My mother and grandmother are buried near South Superior...I go through there every spring/ summer on fishing trips to northern Minnesota, and to visit my mom's grave on the way. My first 3 cars ( a '52 Chev, '58 Chev, and a '40 Willys coupe) were driven by there countless times as a teenager. I have had several Willys in my life time. I am too old to build anymore, but I still have 2 Willys (below). Thanks for the memories G-willys
