I've one in a Fork Lift that runs, but need a "normal" timing cover for it, the one I have could be used I guess, but would have to plate over holes for the pump drive and such.

    Thanks

I believe Willys for one. Cletrac crawlers used them as well in the AG model. There were different timing covers for auto vs. industrial and gear vs. timing chains.

Most likely, we used to have some Cletracs 40 years ago, but never paid attention at the time what was in them, the one I have the engine mounts off the timing cover, were they all like that do you know?

I'll check on mine n a bit of there's provisions for side mounts/etc..

    Thanks

Hell, Continental made their own line of cars in the early thirties. The "Ace" and "Flyer" were 6 cylinder cars, while the price leader "Beacon", was a four. There was a guy who ran a '33 Coninental Beacon in B/Gas (I think) in the early 60's at Minnesota Dragways. It had an SBC and won most of the time.

"Wikipedia" lists literally dozens of cars and trucks powered by Continental engines.

The following automobile companies used Continental engines:D

Believe I have some NOS oil pan seals for them. The Kaiser seal is slightly different then the industrial seal. I have both. Also Checker cabs?

Helped build a sleeper in 1970 pulled a continental 6 out of a Checker and replaced it with a 413 out of a Chrysler.

Not a car but the Detroit Industrial Vehicle Company (Divco) used Continentals IIRC. Regardless, the dairy I used to work for back when I was in college pulled flathead sixes out of Divco's by the boat load and replaced them with Ford overhead sixes.
