Getting ready to start on this, I've owned it 40 years, finally time to do it! Sent from my SM-G975U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
You should have plenty of time now, with the lockdown and all! After 40 years you have an awfully clean garage!
Looks like a solid start. Here’s pics of my ‘56 210 wagon. I know...it has a few too many doors, but it’s a wagon, so doors are necessary.
Nice, a friend of mine has two. One from high school and one he bought maybe 7 years ago. They are both projects.
A little battered but the metal is there! Great start, intact originals like that are rare these days. @'56 150 clarified for me what goes on the rear quarter panel near the tail light. A script.
I'm using what I have "in stock" to build it. 1996 LT1 700R4, 9 inch rear, steel wheels, static drop. Sent from my SM-G975U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I've always wanted a 56, Model 150, Handyman Wagon; only thing, other than a Willys Coupe I'd trade the Delivery for. Friend of mine, who deals in 55-57 Chevrolet cars AND parts, had one; he recently sold it and the new owner is Gasser-fying it. I had a Model 210, Handyman for a while, but it was't plain enough for me. Little trim/chrome, little accessories, and generally, little demand as most guys want something more "dressed up". I am Butch/56sedandelivery.
