Here's hoping that Fred is doing well!
That said, he seems to drop in when he is doing well and making progress. He seems to be absent when adversity is haunting his locale.
Fred, just know that we are pulling for you and even if there is no progress to report, we would be happy to hear from you.

  10. Well said and that goes for me too. JW

  14. Slowly but surely getting the "ugly" offa mine. Replaced steering wheel, valve covers, air cleaner, headlights and taillights, wheels and tires, added a "turtle deck" etc. New exhaust system will arrive this week... 20200312_143515.jpg

Doesn't look like much but a lot of welding has happened in the last few weeks.

  16. I like what i see, its not a ''belly button bucket'', its cool and the fact it doesn't have the bottom of the grille and shell cut off. What exhaust system are you going to have?:cool::cool: JW

I'll run those headers with caps, the exhaust will get directed under the car and out the back.

No affiliation, but look at that dash and old Cragars. This thing has potential! Definitely looks like an old build.

You’ve posted that plenty of times, it’s probably finished with lots of miles on it by now, how about recent pictures ?

  24. Got rid of a bit of ugly on mine thats been bugging me for years. Made the tack strip by laminating two pieces of 7 mm ply. Will have it wrapped in brown leather soon and the interior will follow later. JW

It's against many of the things that Chip and others have said were right, but it looks like a bunch of fun and well finished. I'd change a few things, but would enjoy the heck out of it.

EDIT: Thanks for the likes guys, I'm just a sucker for a Dan Woods style front suspension! I won't bother mentioning the stuff I'd change, it's all personal taste anyway.
