  1. Are the rear doors on a 55..57 chev 4 door station wagon interchange? I was told today the 56 is different. I found a nice pair of 57 doors but he seems to think they would not fit my 56. Thanks...sorry about the title,my spell check changed it for some reason

    They are the same except for the exterior stainless trim. You will have to fill and drill some holes to attach the trim.

  4. Hollander shows 55-57/ 55 56 poncho as same #811 and 56 4dr sw as #876 rear doors..also same as 57 poncho wgn door. The interchange on these are strange
    I always thought trim was difference between them from the 3 years

  7. My Hollander 32nd addition shows - 4 door sedan car and 4 door wagon interchange 55-57 Chevy and 55-57 Pontiac - trim is the difference - wheel wells are different but doesn't include the metal difference in the door.

    looking at the pictures, the 56 has a taller cutout for the wheel opening area on the door.

  9. I found a 57 to measure. The 57 measures 7 in. Corner to corner of the radius. My 56 measures 9 in. Corner to corner. Thanks to everyone.
