Projects How do you run your exhaust out the back of your car, show me what you got.

I agree with hudson48s post. In 2012 at Andy's Picnic every car with down-turned exhaust caused a dust storm, very annoying! DSC04215-2.JPG

I used to have electric cutouts on my 442 with turn downs under the car. I'd roll past my "buddies" at shows and open them up and spray crap everywhere. A real crowd pleaser. Fortunately a blown head gasket warped the hell out the gates so they came off the car. Dumb fad.

Twelve years old photo, car looks different, but exhaust is the same.

To be honest, I go to Muffler Bandits, tell them what I want, ask how long it will take, turn them loose and walk down the street to the Backwoods Cafe to eat a fine meal that one of my former students fixed and his pretty wife served, walk back, pay and drive home with new pipes.
Even though I worked in a Midas shop at one time I absolutely hate doing exhaust work without the proper equipment and you are kidding yourself if you think you really save any money fighting with it yourself.

Tucked behind the bumper on the passenger side on my Shoe. 2 1/4” duals with the driver’s side crossing over right behind the trans crossmember. I might ad an x-pipe later on.

^^^^Love your Caddy! Great color for a big car and nice work on the duals! Were in the same city, but I don't recall seeing the Caddy before?

Haven't built the bed yet, maybe this weekend, but I like the way the rear end of the truck is coming together.
I have to polish the SS exhaust system and paint those hangers black but it looks right.
Another view, straight pipes, under the axle. Time to polish.
