Width for an A-bone should be 55-56” wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface. Google axle widths or 8” axles widths or variations on that theme.
Studebakers with Dana 27 for light duty and Dana 44 for heavy duty are about the width you need, have 5-on-4.5" bolt pattern, post-'57 often have TwinTraction. jack vines
Ford 8.8, from a 1990-1992 Ford Ranger pickup is 56.5" wide, has a variety of ratios to choose from, often with limited slip, has the bolt pattern you are looking for, and are plentiful in salvage yards. They are cheap, and all of the parts for them are still in the auto parts stores. There are 7.5 rears in these, too, so make sure you learn how to spot the correct one.

I have a complete rear end out of an early 60s Chevy that works for mine. It came out of an old dirt track car and is the correct width.
It helps if we know where you are from . Can’t throw a dog a bone if have no idea what neighborhood he is running around in .

Because people know of locations of parts, yards, and may have parts that they can sell you, who are nearby your location, or pass by it. This is, after all, a network of people who build cars, that spans the globe.
At the with you are looking for, you are into truck/van/SUV stuff, which will not have the bolt pattern you are looking for.

Pretty sure that is a 5x5.5 pattern might even be that same stupid metric pattern they used a couple years later

Many have talked about this or that rear,so likely one of those may work fine. Mostly it dosen't matter,except if you don't want to look for or make a pair of rims for rear you have ! But; I didn't start out when building cars,ever thinking much about how wide or narrow a rear that I could find free or close to free was! I know that rim off set can put a tire at a wider or narrow track by how much off set or inset of the rim. Also learned how to move rim centers my self pretty early. Some now days are locked into a idea of matching front to back rims. In the 50 n 60s,frankly we just wanted the hub caps to match if we could and tires not rub,with low scrub on fronts. Dose seem to be a lot less DIY now days,just buy it. Too bad.
Function follows form , appearances are everything ,comfort is not considered ( especially when you're young and invincible) ....
