Technical 392 Hemi head gasket blueprint needed for building a honing plate

    The plate showed up today, and it is a beauty. THe block is at the machinists place, so I haven't tested the fit yet. I'm going to drop the plate off there tonight. I hope he gets to installing my sleeve soon.

    That looks really really nice. I wasn’t considering using a plate on my next project as I didn’t feel it was needed given the performance level I will be looking for but for the price it seem stupid not to. Thanks for sharing this.

    Enjoying this thread and all of the info /suggestions. I have a Donovan 417 plate but have several early Hemis and the Donovan had larger head studs and not sure about the pin size 'locations etc. I have not checked the plate on any of these and may need the info that says where to get these. Thanks

    ...smokin' deal on the Olds valve covers...now if they just had a pile of Hemi covers to closeout....
