Looks and sounds GREAT. WHEW I hope you don't normally get any significant snow fall in your neighborhood those are some hilly streets and a long driveway.

What a Bitchin story! Sounds like were the same age! 51-Ish?
Sounds similar to my story, except the car was my Pops, and I got to drive it.
    But now its mine!

    Awesome!
I really like your early 60’s Show car look! Heavy flake and Reverse wheels!

So I did this comparison so you can see the difference in the chassis. I kept the same look like I wanted to but you can clearly see that the wishbones steering and rear bars were brought up a decent amount. You can also see how much the back of the body was dropped down. The best i can tell i dropped it a good 4" maybe more.

Did this for fun the other day. I was at my Dad's house last week and found this jacket. Same Jacket, Same Boots, Same Car! 33 years apart!

  13. That's a great comparison shot! I wish I had a picture of me with my 38 when I bought it 36 years ago.

    Hey there Todd!
What size Are your rear tires and rims?
    Are they Reversed?
I got a problem on my 33, the axle is 60 inches wide, so I can only run narrow reversed rims, and still tuck the top of the tire under the fender lip hopefully.
I’m looking at series 64 wheel vintiques 15 x 7 reversed with a maximum backspace of 3 1/4. I’m looking at a Coker Classic H 78 28.36 inches diameter, I think would work I was just wondering what size yours is? You don’t have fenders so, you don’t have to worry about it!
    Thanks Rick!

I'll have to go home and l@@K. I can't remember exactly. They are NOT reveresed. Just a straight ford rim plated. I think I got them from Coker maybe Summit but pretty sure the rims are Vintiques.

Really neat hot rod. I got sucked into the story and have been reading it all over the last few days. From the first post where you said not to expect a professional level, I kept seeing proof that you've got more skill than you lead on. You handled a lot of solutions really well. The car really came out well.
