Technical 1955 Chevrolet Bumper Guard as Floating Grille???

    Has anyone out there used one of these as a floating grille? On a Merc? Is it too long and does it have enough radius to match a Merc peak in the nose? Would it have to be shortened and pie cut? So many questions I know, thanks

    without a photo its just something we need to imagine...I agree with your thinking as it seems every grille has be stuck in a 49-51 opening... seems like it you had 2 of them you stick them on a 2x4 to see what they look like
