Technical Best 39/40 Ford Deluxe Colors

Not sure what Folkstone Gray looked like so I wandered over to Ol Scrounger's albums. I gotta say, I prefer the later Ford Dove gray on a 39-40 coupe. Pure class!
First time I saw dove gray on a 39-40 coupe it was in the mid-late 90s at a good Guys event in Puyallup Warshington. A guy had a gorgeous 39 deluxe coupe for sale for $43,000. It was dove gray and I fell in love with that sucker.

 

IF I had'a 39 Deluxe (maybe someday) it would hafta be 'Whore Red' (is that a color?!) Love a red 40/29 coupe

And if you happened to want to name your car like some guys do you could call it "Roxanne".

 

I'm a lover of a light tan colour on 38/40 fords particularly on utes ,as it was common over here to see them ,mind you my 39 sloper is that colour , a late friend had a really nice 40 ute it was a gun metal gray looked great ,mind you he wished it was a tan as well

'40 coupes are supposed to be black or black. I'll admit to bucking the system a couple times, but they're supposed to be black.
