Some more of my old art work Will post more over the next few weeks
COLOR stuff is old T-shirt art for our clubs annual car show. Most of it is drawn 4-color so it could be digitized for silk screen or transfer.
BLACK & WHITE stuff for Junkyard News which I co-pulished in the '80s, Also some old car show flyer art.
CARTOONS from Street Rodder Magazine...was a Contributing Artist for them in the '70s arc12.jpg 100_3563.jpg 100_3577.jpg

    Hello,

One of the most unusual, but very colorful rear engine roadsters on the drag racing scene in the early 60’s was the maroon/yellow flames version that ran locally at several So Cal dragstrips. We saw it in magazines and it was impressive. We were told it was fast, maybe not as fast as our favorite rear engine roadster, the Speed Sport Special, but fast nonetheless.

Holly Hedrich and driver, Bob McClure attacked the records as well as possible considering the competition.

Enjoying flames as much as I have over the years, a colorful, tasteful application is always a neat design. This multi-yellow flames against a maroon background made it stand out from any direction.

The Hedrich/McClure roadster went on to other paint designs, but this one version was the best... (As far as being colorful for eye catching attention.) The Hedrich-McClure rear engine roadster made believers out of a lot of people.

My 5 year old daughter and I sat down the other day and "colored" some pictures. She begged me to post them 20200313_003144.jpg
