What is going on with the hoodless '40? Is that aluminum foil? Just parade dress? Some very nice cars!

 

I would guess it's foil... I've seen the old show photos where they lined the inside of the windows with foil to hide the "unfinished" interior. And seen a few photos where they had foiled the bumpers.

The model A roadster (second photo of that post) has a foiled tow bar. And the second '40 (below that foiled one) appears to have foil covering the grill guard.

 

Probably a bunch of friends helping each other and someone as a joke said, " Crap man we should do your whole car eh!"

 

That is Cal Morrow's Coupe I suspect...it sure did go through a number of transitions looking the Hotrod part all the way...thanks for sharing the Historic Maple Leaf Hotrod/Custom Movement..​

The red Austin on the right has VW Bug taillights, the 32 Ford Sedan has no taillights, but it has headlights. HUUMMMM.

 

I love this thread,, keep them coming please. Wish they would make tyres like the Firestones on the back of The Leg Show T , or do they?
