Hot Rods I just made an amazing trade

I'm right there with you..and I own a '39 Deluxe and a '40 Convertible.

 

Of course any self-respecting Hemi guy such as myself will heartily congratulate you on any move that rids your yard of a Buick Congrats!

 

Is there going to be room for the family in that 39 coupe? Going to leave the kids home now?
I'm happy for you that you are happy, and getting rid of a Buick is certainly an upgrade to my line of thinking, but there isn't much people room in the coupe. Gene

Would some HAMBers who know these cars speculate on the value here? Guessing the front sheet metal is in similar condition. Super solid car.

 

It appears to be a very solid car, something that is non-existent up here in the Northeast and would fetch a pretty penny.

Very cool car, put it together and have some fun, leave it as a standard, they have their place in coolness. But loose those centre caps on the wheels, I could see someone's legs getting ripped

It’s greased lightening....very cool car...yes loose that caps ASAP they remind me of these things..

 

Good lookin' coupe, wheels are kinda bright....

 

Yeah it will loose those plastic center caps, the wheels will be painted black again, and it really needs the right size tires put on it. Supposed to be 6.00x16 he put on 4.50/4.75x16 tires on it. I can't stand the red wheels drives me crazy.

It is pretty solid that is why I was ok trading, it does have a little rust but for an 8p year old car I think she has held up very well. I am pretty sure she was on the road at least 18 years ago. There is a metal plaque on the firewall from a car show in 2002.

Keep us posted on the progress. I didn't see the Buick pics (late to the dance) but I approve of the trade.

 

Yeah the buick was a fun car, but I got board of it. It was too "automatic".
