Nice car, your Upholstery looks great. IMO the upholstery business as a side line or full time, the time is now, every shop I'm aware of here in Wisconsin is busy, backed logged 1- 2 years from the lower quality to the top shelf, all busy and from prices quoted/charged, making money. As always, supply and demand, seems to be a shortage of reputable shops, and hearing stories of Upholstery jail like paint shop jail. If I was a younger man, this would be my next career choice.

The beginning of the seat shape, I ended up doing a lot more carving of the foam but this was the starting point. 705CA125-D4CA-425C-8215-8E8B81A5FB63.jpeg

Picked up a slab of 6” dense foam from Albrights supply, cut the pieces out and used landau glue to attach them.

A nice simple design using a tuck and roll pleat over 1/2” sew foam.

To finish it off I made a set of floor mats with a tuck and roll panel that is folded under and attaches to the mat with Velcro sewn on both pieces.

There’s a few small things to finish up including windlace and some door stop straps that I should have wrapped up here shortly.

If I took my car to a pro and he turned that job out I'd be happy from what I can see here
