any of you guys running spider caps, what lug nutz are you using? I've got a Galaxie and cant seem to fit the the lugs into the acorns, the nuts are too big. The ones I have are simillar to the ones on Speedway with the retainer and the spider cap attaches to the retainer. ( picked them up at a swap a few years ago)..
Are they for 5 on 4-1/2” ? They should fit 13/16” 1/2-20 lugs; but if they don’t, Gorilla sells lugs with a 3/4” top and a bulge taper.
The last time I used spiders, I just used the ugly old OEM lug nuts with no top. Then it was lots of room. Can't see them anyway once you screw the cap on.
After looking online o might have been trying to put them on wrong. Might have to put center on and then each acorn on lug separately, I thought the retainer went on then the whole cap acorns and all fit over it.
