I know there are threads on here about this but I am wanting a thread with pictures for examples and feedback on how this went. I am looking at painting a few things starting with a D100 shop truck and was curious what it actually sprays out looking like and the longevity. I know there are high dollar paints out there but for now this is what I can afford and I am looking for examples and feedback from those who have used it.
It was pretty decent the day I painted it, but it has held up poorly. The top and hood got flat and chalky after the first summer even though it is garage kept. I have painted a pretty fair amount of cars and this was done exactly as the directions instructed, but it has not held up worth a shit. -Abone.
I am interested in others opinions as well. I thought I read where it tcp didn’t get chalky . Ears wide open here .
I drive mine regularly and it’s held up well. It does get parked in the garage. Which will always make a difference in the longevity of a paint job. Oops, just realized that I used HotRod Black from SEM. Not the HotRod Flatz from TCP. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
