Yes Angry Frenchman came over and went through my carbs and we started her up. Ive been trying to upload the video which is terrible quality but it wont let me. You guys will have to just go to the Pinetree Jamboree drags next year in Maine to see for yourselves. Update pics to follow soon.

 

Wow Im really bad at build threads. Well Ive been driving the coupe up and down the street working the bugs out. Bad news is I gotta swap the transmission out with one of my spares and deal with some synchro bs but no big deal.
Anyway heres some pictures of the car in its current state. It'll get more finished as time and money allow.

Thanks for the kind words guys! Life definately got in the way of this build but Im in the home stretch now. Feels good to be ironing out the details and driving it a bit

Hey Adam....I recall seeing that old dog way back in your old brick warehouse and its come a long ways since then ! Beautiful job and my kind of hotrod. Thanks for sharing with us folks out west.

 

Alot of stuff came and went and got cut up in that warehouse while the poor little coupe sat in the corner. Thanks for the encouraging words

Well my 39 transmission was stuck in second gear and after a little tinkering I knew I wasnt gonna get it fixed with it in the car. Sooo I yanked that out and put a 34 box in that I had kicking around. Shifts beautiful so I took Mrs. adam401 for her first ride in the car. Still a lot of sorting to do. Updates to follow
