Old Photos of the Green Voodoo that I found on the Petersen Archives Version 1 Version 2 Version 3 Version 4
Jimmy Giminez Tbird. Green, then Chicano purple, then faded away only to be found sitting in a trucking company yard in Fremont CA., then sitting in my back yard 40 some years ago, then chained to a tree in the CA. mountains, and finally reunited with the family of the original builder and redone to this purple version. I had a chance to work on and then drive the second incarnation of Doane's Thunderbird earlier this year, all I can say is what a joy. The car is quick and nimble. Early T-Birds aren't much of a "sport car" but with a little work they really shine. I'm a fan. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10219565389512353
Slightly off topic BUT had to share. Found on BAT auctions for this boat. Mr. Puff, the happy new owner of the Chris Craft hopefully only staged this shot of his bird in front of his new Chris. I use dto tow my 16 ft with a 70hp outboard to the lake all the time with my 55 but hey it was all I had!
I interrupted an off the frame restoration of this T-Bird to race it in '98 and '99 in the Texas Thunderbird races.
