haven't been here on the HAMB long,
so to see that sportie go from stocker to rocker in just a few days was great...
doesn't seem to go that way here at my house...

First of all, I don't like sport Coupes, second of all, I don't like chopped A's. Especially 6"...
That being said, I have to eat crow because this is the most bad-assed sport coupe I have ever seen. The look and workmanship is pure genius. What a beautiful car, man what a beautiful car...

ditto on sport coupes... I convert them to coupesters...
but the radical chop and tasty top take the "I'm a Cabriolet wanna be" sport coupe... and makes it look like a hot rod...
    ... job well done !

I saw the 6" chop & thought "Here we go again" . A couple of post later I realize you're an experienced fabricator and doing some pretty nice work, so I opened my mind and followed along. When you said you did this in 6 months I decided I will shut my mouth. Nice job. Thanks for sharing.

That is a battery isolator. I didn't like the big red key you normally get so made my own.

Pete, I said at Pendine the car looks great. I can see now what is under the skin. Mate, it's simply outstanding. Fantastic workmanship. 3-3/8 by 4-1/4. I can see how you got that shirt now. Congrats. I know it ain't easy. I'll have to stick my head under it next time. (Gow?)

    All the best Mate.

    Mart.

Cheers Mart, and congrats to yourself, the shirts suits you too.
Yeah the motor is 304ci and unlike last year it seems to want to rev better. That's what gave it the edge from last time, that and the oil pump not failing!
Hopefully it'll be at GOW! So you can have a good nosey around.

Do you have a photo of the switch before installation, may have to do something like that on my ride.

Love this build! As others said, the 6 inch drop was scary at first but you made it look great! I came to this post as I was thinking about an m40 volvo box to put behind my 59a engine. You used an truck bell housing by the looks of it. Does the volvo box fit behind this and does the shaft have enough length or does it need adapters? Maybe some pics of this if you don't mind me asking...
