I thought they were going to publish a Feb. issue as the last gasp?

  4. I wouldn't think so since it's a bi monthly publication.

Photos of March issue covers for six of the 19 cancelled magazines have showed up on the web, but not HRD (or Street Rodder). I suspect that it has to do with production schedules. These magazines may have been ready to go to press when the plug was pulled.

That was a great issue. If it had to end it did with a finale of an excellent cover car and the excellent article on Norm’s T.

They didn't bother to send mine. I had to hunt one down on the news stand.

It is too bad they didn't sell off the title, it was a great magazine. I wonder what their plans is with all that historical content in the Peterson Library ?

Re-cycle? It must all be scanned and copied by now I would think. Perhaps since they are publishing some titles it

I bought multiple copies of that last issue. It was a good one. Not to beat a dead horse since we've talked about the whole print thing quite a bit, but I wonder if they'd ever do some sort of thing like offer the magazine as a pdf file which would eliminate the cost of printing/shipping. One of the clubs I belong to has asked members if they'd recieve the monthly bulletin that way to save costs. It reads well and if you want you can always print out all or part of it.

Does anyone get the digital subscription? My car was to be in the March issue.

I really liked Hot Rod Deluxe, and have every issue since day one. It is damn disappointing to see it go. At least, my 37 Ford found a small slot in the final issue.
