No numbers. Fitting some pads under the sub frame to spread the load. I can mount the back half of my body now that I've located my rear. Lol
You talkin ta me?, are you talkin ta me?, there’s nobody else here so you must be talkin ta me. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Found the roots of all the trouble. Warped door and twisted foot on the a pillar. Tweaked itwith a weld on handle
Im glad i made this firewall before locking it down to subframe. It pushes the cowl band flange outward. This is good but it may have an affect on the A pillar. Easy to modify now. I better get my dashboard in soon too.
Bob drake 32 engine support brackets replaced the tardel mounts . Unfortunately the box is touching the manifold .
I have to lengthen mount bolts by half inch and use a thick .375 spacer at the bottom to lift the engine at least a .25 . Its not as bad as it looks in picture. The crossmember is actually more in the way .
I remember having to grind the top edge of those '32 mounts for fan belt clearance; how does yours look?
Screwed up the old panel twice trying to flange above gas tank . Too straight first time to much curve the second . Spent a long time filling taillight holes for nothing. Made a new panel . Deck lid has never fit so well.
Mounted gas tank and rear shocks too . Modified front 1932 engine mounts by lengthening bolts and spacing mounts half inch up .
I would really like to buy a pair of the cowl post tops from you. Building a 29 RPU from a pile of scrap parts. Converting a closed car cowl to roadster, have all the pieces now, but the cowl posts are missing the tops. Thanks!
