Technical Air cleaner info

    Bought 4 of the these today anyone ran these have any info on them they were cheap and kinda cool gonna out em on my weind 4 2 barrel

    Those look like vents for a boat hull not air cleaners, but hey if it floats your boat to use them as air cleaners what the hell!

    They ARE vents for a boat.....still would be really neat if they fit.

    Thanks to replys. I never thought they would be boat vents but hell if they look good and work they will be aircleaners. Lol

    I can see how they could get air into the carbs, but I don't see how they would clean the air. Which is what air cleaners are supposed to do.

    Also, clean-flowing air. I'd have those rims machined off for flow, and the front tabs removed for looks. They're too special to not use.

    Those are marine deck vents, PERKO products are not cheap, it's obvious the salt water has taken its toll. Surprise yourself and look up what the cost of that model is. Good luck on the fitment and however you choose to filter the air!

    The opening of it is 2 3/4 exactly what is a stomberg diameter. I'm definitely gonna out foam in it for clean air. Also I'm gonna cut the tube down it's kinda tall but
